Cat Food Deal at CVS 4/1 – 4/7 and 4/8 – 4/14

This week at CVS, Meow Mix cat food is on sale 2/$9.00.  This normally isn’t a good price, but stack it with coupons and you’ve got a great deal!  Check out this scenario:

 

Buy 4 Meow Mix Bags & 2 $1.00 items = $20.00

– $4.00/$20.00 = $16.00

– 4 x $1.00/1 Meow Mix Coupons (in some SS 4/1 or check eBay) = $12.00

TOTAL: $12.00 OOP (Plus Tax)

$3.00 per bag / $0.89 per pound!

 

To get the maximum in savings, I will be using ECB’s from the Complete contact solution deal (4/1 – 4/7).

Buy 4 Meow Mix Bags & 2 $1.00 items = $20.00

– $4.00/$20.00 = $16.00

– $8.99 ECB’s from Contact Solution = $3.01

TOTAL: $3.01 OOP (Plus Tax)

$0.75 per bag / $0.19 per pound!

 

Next week (4/8 – 4/14), Meow Mix is on sale Buy 2 Get 1 free.  Meow Mix usually retails at $5.49, so this is still a great deal.  I highly recommend waiting until next week to use this deal.  Here is the scenario:

 

Buy 4 Meow Mix, Get 2 Free = $21.96

– $4.00/$20.00 = $17.96

– 6 x $1.00/1Meow Mix Coupons (in some SS 4/1 or check eBay) = $11.96

– $8.99 ECB’s from Complete contact solution = $2.97

TOTAL: $2.97

$0.50 a bag / $0.15 per pound!!!

 

Remember, CVS’s official coupon policy allows you to use a coupon on a free sale item.  Don’t forget that CVS loads the new sales into their computer on Saturdays at 4:00 PM.  If you are really strapped for cat food, try to hold out until then!
